The Віg 7 Тrаvеl platform included Bulgaria’s Golden Sands beach among the 50 Best beaches in the world in 2021
If you still have not decided where you want to spend your holiday this summer but your plans include at least a few days in the Bulgarian Black Sea region, the best option is the Golden Sands resort. That is at least according to the online tourist platform Big 7 Travel, which ranked the Golden Sands beach among the 50 Best beaches in the world for the summer of 2021. According to the platform “Golden Sands beach is nearby Varna, and is one of the most beautiful – if not the most – beaches in the region. The water is clear and a perfect temperature for swimming, and the sand lives up to its name“. The Bulgarian resort is ranked 38th, right above Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Golden Sands beach is the only Bulgarian beach included in the list.
Two Greek beaches have earned a place in the ranking – on the 35th position Psarou Beach, Mykonos, and on the 26th position Elafonisi Beach.
Croatia is also included with two beaches - Jagodna Bay in Hvar, and Golden Horn Beach in Brac.
The first place and the best beach title for 2021 goes to Vaeroy Beach – Norway, which belongs to the Lofoten archipelago. “The amazing views of coastline from the top of the cliffs is unbeatable. Wild, craggy shores look out onto the Arctic water, which are warmer than you might expect.” The second and third place go to Whitehaven Beach – Whitsunday Islands, Australia, and Fig Tree Bay – Protaras, Cyprus.
