The visit of the Bulgarian delegation, organized by the BCCI and its partners to China, has ended





The Bulgarian delegation, organized by BCCI and its partners in China, has completed its visit. During the second week of the visit a conference was held in Ningbo with representatives of the local government and leading companies from the Zhejiang region. Milen Dobrev, executive director of Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the economic situation in our country. The other participants from the Bulgarian business also introduced their activities and took part in discussions about the opportunities for business and cooperation. Individual talks were held and many business contacts established.

The two-week visit included a training seminar organized by the Academy of International Business Relations (AIB); meetings with representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Beijing, Shaoxing and Ningbo, a visit to the permanent Bulgarian pavilion, part of the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) pavilion, located in the ICTM center in the city of Ningbo; visit to the city of Shaoxing – the Integrated Circuit Industrial Park – one of the main technology incubator in China, Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science & Technology Park - a leading innovation center in China, focused on new energies, hydrogen, life sciences, economics and robotics, the Global Health Industry Innovation Center (GHIC) for innovative medical technologies and resources.

The training seminar was officially closed in Beijing. The ceremony was attended by Ivaylo Iordanov, Minister Plenipotentiary, temporarily managing the Bulgarian Embassy in Beijing. The Minister Counsellor, considering the economic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the People's Republic of China, emphasized the importance of the visit of the Bulgarian delegation after the pandemic period and communicated his belief that these relations will continue to be as effective and efficient.

The ceremony was closed by the Deputy Executive Director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Yang Xiaodong.

The BCCI is organizing the training for the second time and its aim is to generate ideas for enhancing the bilateral economic cooperation, opportunities for closer interaction at company level, as well as exchange of good practices with related organizations. The next training is scheduled for 2024 with the active support of the Embassy of China in Sofia.
