“The Patriarch of Creation” film about the first Chairman of BCCI is launched on social networks

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed with Stepan Polyakov from “Five Star Media Group” Production Company the start of the public presentation of the jointly produced film “The Patriarch of Creation” about the life and work of Ivan Grozev, the first Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The premiere of the film took place on 9^th September 2020 at the Cinema House, but due to the introduced anti-epidemic measures the film did not reach a wider audience.

Ivan Grozev was one of Vasil Levski’s closest allies, entrepreneur, one of the constructors of “The Baron Hirsch Railway”, concessionaire of the Moshino coal mines after the Liberation of Bulgaria, Mayor of Sofia and first Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in its 125-year history.

The film “The Patriarch of Creation” is a walk through the events in our country in the late 19^th and early 20^th century, one of the most dynamic periods in Bulgarian history.

Given the unfavorable epidemiological situation and the impossibility to organize film screenings, an agreement was reached to distribute the film through the social networks You Tube and LinkedIn.

“I recommend all Bulgarians to see the film and learn about the life and contribution of a humble but dedicated and patriotic Bulgarian who left a mark on our history,” said the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov and pledged to assist the regional chambers of commerce so that the film is presented to the entire business community. When the epidemiological conditions allow it the film will be presented in cinemas as well.
