The Newly Established Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce Presented its Objectives and Programme

Representatives of the Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. Albena Jones, Dimitar Turlakov and Anton Samsonov are among the founders of the new organisation, which set itself the aim to foster the business ties between Bulgarian and African companies, as well as to support cooperation in trade and industry and in the field of culture.

Mr Simeonov presented BCCI and outlined the opportunities for interaction and coactivity with the Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce. A regular exchange of information was agreed about up-to-date events and initiatives in both directions. A future business visit to Africa, which shall include several countries, was also discussed. The initiators of the bilateral Chamber confirmed that the potential of the African continent is enormous as a source of raw materials and as a field for the adequate and fruitful participation of Bulgarian companies in economic activities.
