A delegation from the BCCI will visit Norway in October this year

The bilateral commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and Norway and the dynamics of their development were discussed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov and the new Ambassador of Bulgaria to Oslo Desislava Ivanova.

Simeonov pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry could contribute to the mission of the embassy finding business partners for Norwegian companies on the Bulgarian market, as well as assist with the arrangement of bilateral meetings, visits to production facilities, etc.

One of the topics of the dialogue were the projects implemented so far by the BCCI under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. President Simeonov accentuated on the SOLID project, aimed at strengthening the policies and practices of the social dialogue in Bulgaria, at improving the skills in connection with the challenges social partners face on the labor market as a result of the Covid crisis, the enhancement of the bilateral cooperation with Norway by sharing experience, knowledge and good practices; the strengthening of cooperation between employers and trade unions by bolstering their credence. The BTPP is realizing the project in partnership with Podkrepa CL and the Confederation of Norwegian Employers (NHO).

Another point of discussion was the upcoming visit of a delegation from the BCCI to Norway in October this year.
