The Ambassador of Ukraine to Sofia H.E. Olesya Ilashchuk visited the BCCI and discussed with its President Tsvetan Simeonov future initiatives for intensifying the commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and Ukraine. The meeting was attended by Lilia Ivanova, chairperson of the Bulgarian-Ukrainian industrial chamber at the BCCI.
Further, the parties talked about the current economic situation in Ukraine and its Annual privatization program and shared the common vision of maintaining and upgrading the economic relations between the two countries despite the war.
Another topic of discussion was the organization of a hybrid event where representatives of the business from both countries shall be provided information about the economic situation and recovery funds for Ukraine, the possibilities for Bulgarian companies to participate in the post-war restoration and reconstruction of the country, as well as joint projects aimed at enhancing the bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
