"The serious and lasting cooperation between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korean partners is a prerequisite for establishing many new contacts between Bulgarian and Korean companies," the BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov announced at the opening of the Bulgarian-Korean Business Forum, organised by the Chamber and the Municipality of the town of Namyangju, South Korea, last week in Sofia.
Good conditions for cooperation are also provided by the Free Trade Agreement between the EU and the Republic of Korea, as well as by the Digital Partnership Agreement which encourages cooperation in the production of semiconductors, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, platforms, data and skills.
11 Korean companies in the sectors of perfumery and cosmetics, medical equipment, light industry, consumer goods, agriculture, food and drink industry, as well as information and telecommunication technologies held more than 80 meetings with Bulgarian companies which show interest in cooperation with the Asian country.
The Korean partners presented their products and acquainted themselves with the conditions for doing business in Bulgaria, with Bulgarian raw materials, products, traders and distributors.
