Specifics of the upcoming virtual meeting "Bulgaria - Argentina: opportunities for cooperation"

M. Daniel Horacio COTTINI – Minister plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of the Mission at the Embassy of Argentina in Sofia and M. Juan Ignacio CAMIO BAVASSO – Counsellor visited the BCCI and reviewed with its President Tsvetan Simeonov the possibilities of enhancing the commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and Argentina. They discussed the bilateral trade relations where a major role until 2019 was played by the copper ores and concentrates imported from Argentina. Representatives of the Embassy shared that the South American country’s mining industry had a great potential in the field and was developing deposits and mining constructions.

Further, emphasis was placed on the upcoming virtual meeting "Bulgaria - Argentina: opportunities for cooperation”, which will be conducted on 7 February 2024 /Wednesday/ at 15.00 via the Zoom platform.

The event was organized with the aim to present the business climate in Bulgaria and Argentina, outline the investment opportunities and potential cooperation sectors and provide information on the management and protection of the intellectual property assets of SMEs’ with interests in the Latin American market for the purpose of enhancing theirs global competitiveness .
