The new Bulgarian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea visited the BCCI



The meeting with the new Ambassador of Bulgaria to the Republic of Korea, Petar Kraychev, was held at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His Excellency and BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov exchanged useful information about the existing cooperation between Bulgaria and South Korea and discussed up-to-date topics of interaction. Ambassador Kraychev shared an abundance of memories from his numerous diplomatic missions from all over the world. The guest and his host agreed that the promising economic environment in the Republic of Korea provided chances for enhancing the bilateral economic, trade and investment dialogue. The country, being smaller in territory than Bulgaria and without any special natural resources, has achieved a lot in recent years and is developing as the 10th economy in the world.

Simeonov pointed out the BCCI had always relied with confidence on Korean partners - diplomats, mixed chambers, national and regional business organizations. The Free Trade Agreement between the EU and South Korea was also discussed .

The participants in the meeting agreed that the exchange of information between the BCCI and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Seoul should not be suspended, as well as the connections with the very active Trade and Economic Affairs Unit at the Embassy.
