The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its partners will hold a Business forum between Bulgaria and Greece


The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Bulgarian-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Commercial Department of the Embassy of Greece in Sofia are organising a Business forum between Bulgaria and Greece on 3 October 2024 starting at 10.00 a.m. in BCCI, Sofia, 9 Iskar Str.

The Forum will focus on the following sectors: food and drink industry, luxury goods, energy, infrastructure, construction, shipping, the industrial production of gyroscopes, security and access control systems, real estate, hospitality, tourism, medical equipment, wholesale of plastic raw materials, cyber security and risk management, etc. List of Greek companies

The companies willing to participate in the bilateral meetings can register HERE by 1 October 2024 /Tuesday/. Participation is free of charge. Working languages ​​of the Forum are Bulgarian and Greek with translation.

Greece is a traditional economic partner of Bulgaria. Bilateral trade in 2023 amounted to EUR 4,621.8 million. Exports were EUR 2,447.4 million and imports - EUR 2,174.4 million. The data show that there is potential for expanding cooperation in a number of sectors – the food and drink industry and perishable goods, bioproducts, furniture industry, cosmetics, as well as setting up joint ventures for joint entry into third markets, etc.

According to information from the Bulgarian National Bank, the total investments from Greece to Bulgaria by the end of 2023  amounted to 3,570 billion euro.
