The document was prepared with the active assistance of the ambassador of Bulgaria in Tunisia H.E. Veselin Dyankov. The signing took place at BCCI during a meeting between the management personnel of the two organizations and companies - members of the Chamber.

Vasil Todorov - General Secretary of BCCI, emphasized that there are many areas and fields of cooperation between the two employer organizations. According to him, given the delay caused by the pandemic, the cooperation agreement is being signed at the right moment when Bulgaria and Tunisia are very open to search for new markets and partners.

Within the framework of the meeting, numerous conversations were held between businessmen from Tunisian and Bulgarian companies, and possible contracts were discussed in the areas of: food industry, food additives, glass packaging, agriculture, construction, engineering, trade, etc.

The President of the Confederation of Tunisian Employers, Foued Geddish, explained that this is the second time he is in Sofia, as the first meeting at BCCI took place in 2017. He said that many products and facilities are in demand in his country. The change in the traditional supply chains requires a proactive approach in the business from both the countries. Bulgaria has had a very good image in Tunisia for decades and it should be used and supported.
