Evgenia Ivanova, the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Bulgarian Embassy in Brazil, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and discussed the bilateral trade and economic relations with its President, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
Mr. Simeonov presented the activities of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), its regional structure, and the opportunities offered by the Chamber’s unified voluntary trade register. He also provided information on BCCI’s cooperation with partners from Brazil and the exchange of visits over the years.
The President of the Chamber also presented the opportunities offered by BCCI for finding trade partners, organizing meetings, and promotional events.
Ivanova shared her upcoming plans during her mission in Brazil. She emphasized that the Embassy in Brazil has a wide scope of accreditation, as it is also responsible for Venezuela, Guyana, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and Suriname.
Simeonov highly appreciated the relations with Brazil in the context of the trade agreement signed between the EU and Mercosur (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay) at the end of 2024, as well as the recent digital dialogue between the European Union and the Government of Brazil held on March 20.
The successful meeting held at BCCI on March 13 this year with a delegation from Ecuador, was also discussed, in order to explore trade opportunities and strengthen the bilateral relations.
