Yasuhiro Kitajima, the newly appointed First Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Sofia, visited BCCI and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.
They discussed the development of trade and economic relations between Japan and Bulgaria and the plans for development during Yasuhiro Katajima's forthcoming term of office in Sofia. He comes from the economic circles and that’s a good starting point for his future work in Bulgaria. Mr Simeonov acquainted the guest with the Chamber's main activities in support of the business, as well as with the investment climate and commercial potential of our country.
According to information received by the Bulgarian National Bank, the net position at the end of 2023 (the total amount of Japanese investments in Bulgaria at the end of the period) is 108.6 million euro.
