The new Dutch-Bulgarian Business Association presented its first initiatives



The leadership of the newly established Dutch-Bulgarian Business Association /DBBA/  and the President of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed at meeting held at BCCI premises the possibilities for the development of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and the Netherlands.

Eduard Simmelink, chairman of DBBA, and Mila Pancheva, vice-chairman of the bilateral association, presented the organization, its goals and planned activities. DBBA has attracted 30 companies from Bulgaria and the Netherlands in the very first months of its establishment and succeeded in signing partnership agreements with other bilateral chambers and organizations in the country.

During the meeting, Simeonov said that the BCCI and the DBBA have a common field for cooperation, with the main goal of improving the economic situation in Bulgaria, as well as the legislative system.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry introduced his guests to the history, activity and structure of the Chamber, accentuating on the relations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with partners from the Netherlands. Simeonov commented on the digitization of the trade register project of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry completed in cooperation with Dutch organizations.

Another topic of the meeting was the event "Bulgarian, Belgian and Dutch business exchange", which the bilateral chamber is organising in Sofia. The event is organized in cooperation with the Flemish-Balkan Business Club and is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs and companies from Bulgaria, Belgium and the Netherlands to exchange ideas and explore potential partnerships.
