The EU BUSINESS HUB successfully concludes its first two business missions

The Digital Solutions Korea 2024 business mission enabled 41 EU SMEs and start-ups to visit Softwave 2024

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has the pleasure of sharing that the first two business missions under the Programme, called EU Business Hub - Japan and the Republic of Korea, were carried out with great success.

The EU Business Hub - Japan and the Republic of Korea is an EU-funded programme that supports EU SMEs and startups in the green, digital, and healthcare sectors to enter the markets of Japan and the Republic of Korea. The programme supports EU companies active in the green and low-carbon technologies, digital solutions, and healthcare and medical equipment sectors to enter the two Asian markets by organising 10 business missions to Japan and 10 business missions to the Republic of Korea over four years.

The Digital Solutions Korea 2024 business mission enabled 41 EU SMEs and start-ups to visit Softwave 2024 and engage with Korean counterparts through 150 meetings. Similarly, 36 participants in the EU Business Hub @ Semicon Japan business mission explored market opportunities in Japan through the trade fair and over 150 tailored meetings with local counterparts. In preparation for these missions, companies worked diligently to refine their Go-To-Market, tailored matchmaking preferences, and benefited from coaching and financial support.

Both missions were attended by Bulgarian companies. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is engaged with promoting the Programme.

Submissions are now open for two exciting forthcoming missions: EU Business Hub @ Japan IT Week Spring 2025 and Green and Low-Carbon Technologies Korea 2025.
