Entrepreneurs from Syria met with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

A delegation of Syrian entrepreneurs, led by Nabil Tumeh, a member of the Parliament of Syria, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and spoke with the President – Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. Anastas Terzobaliev, executive director of "International Tourism and Real Estate Development Company" EOOD, a company which collaborates and works with the Arabic countries, and Mihail Argatski, the company's commercial director, also participated in the conversation.

Nabil Tumeh mentioned that the government of Syria is taking measures for more active cooperation with countries willing to participate in the post-war reconstruction. He stressed that there are currently no military operations in the country.

Historically, there is a good economic cooperation between Syria and Bulgaria, with opportunities for future fruitful development. All the participants in the meeting shared this opinion.

BCCI expressed readiness to participate in the organization of the bazaar exhibition of Syrian goods next year in Sofia. The Syrian representatives announced that they will additionally inform about the possible provision of premises of 18,000 square meters near Damascus for a permanent exhibition of Bulgarian goods.
