The Producer Price Index on the domestic market went up by 28.5% compared to December 2021. Prices rose in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 37.6%, in manufacturing by 21.1% and in the mining and quarrying industry by 11.5%, the National Statistical Institute said.
The Total Producer Price Index in Industry increased by 3.4% in December 2022 compared to the previous month. Higher prices were registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 14.3%, and in the mining and quarrying industry by 0.9%. Prices in manufacturing fell by 2.1%.
The Producer Price Index on the domestic market increased by 6.0% in December 2022 compared to the previous month. Domestic prices went up in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 15.0%, and in mining and quarrying by 3.7%. Prices in manufacturing decreased by 2.2%.
