Plaque of the BCCI awarded to the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of its 50th anniversary

Gennadiy Chyzhykov, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a business meeting with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. Chyzhykov presented the results from a recent visit to Kyiv by a delegation from the Eurochambers, represented by President Vladimír Dlouhý, CEO Ben Butters and members of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce.

Simeonov debated on pressing issues of economy in the region and introduced the upcoming events and initiatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in support of business contacts between Bulgarian, Ukrainian and European partners.

The meeting was an opportunity to hand over the BTPP plaque to Gennadiy Chyzhykov on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chyzhykov emphasized that the organization had a dedicated program of events, which opened in March with a  Conference on the role of the business community in the reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine. The Conference was attended by the BCCI via an internet connection.
