The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov was a special guest at the opening of the Pakistani Products Display Center - an exhibition of Pakistani goods at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Mr. Simeonov shared an opinion that the deepening of the trade and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Pakistan is consistent and covers many sectors. For example the Pakistani MANGO Festival, held in August this year, presented the Pakistani mango before numerous Bulgarian companies and media.
The exhibition contains samples of the most famous and internationally proven Pakistani goods, including: textiles, leather goods, precise medical instruments, sporting goods, rice, food, handicrafts, Himalayan salt products and others.
H.E. Ms. Mariam Aftab, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Bulgaria expressed gratitude to BCCI for the support provided related to the development of the bilateral economic relations and emphasized that the exhibition of Pakistani goods at the Embassy will be renewed regularly. Its main goal is to enable Bulgarian companies to explore the possibilities of trade and cooperation with Pakistani manufacturers.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate "Asia, Australia and Oceania", as well as representatives of Bulgarian companies.
The Pakistani Products Display Center can be visited at the Embassy of Pakistan in WTC "Interpred", 36 Dragan Tsankov Blvd., Bl. A, Floor 4, Sofia.
