In October, the Total Producer Price Index rose by 41.7% year-on-year, the National Statistical Institute said on 30 November. Significant growth was seen in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - by 97.8%, in manufacturing - by 20.8%, and in the mining and quarrying industry - by 4.2%.
The Producer Price Index on the Domestic Market went up by 55.4% compared with October 2021. Prices rose in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 94.1%, in manufacturing - by 28.9% and in the mining and quarrying industry - by 9.2%.
The Total Producer Price Index in Industry decreased by 6.2% in October 2022 month-on-month. Lower prices were registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 15.3%, in the mining and quarrying industry - by 3.9%, while in the manufacturing the prices rose by 0.9%.
The Producer Price Index on the Domestic Market decreased by 8.8% in October 2022 compared to the previous month. The domestic prices went down in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 16.0%, in the mining and quarrying industry - by 1.2%, while in the manufacturing the prices rose by 1.0%.
