BCCI completed the IT training of women as a partner under the project RIDE


Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a partner under the project RIDE /Reach Inclusion through Digital Empowerment for migrant women completed the IT training of 10 women. The training in two levels – for beginners and for creative design were held online. The participants were acquainted with a rich content of information.

Oksana Gancheva /RUS/ said the following: I am very grateful for being able to attend this training course. For me it was something brand new and very interesting. I really learned a lot. From September I will continue with my IT education in SoftUni. I would like to thank sincerely the trainers for their patience.”

The trainees in beginners` level presented documents created by themselves as a final exam. Amongst them were power point presentations about the historic and cultural heritage of Bulgaria, nature – plants and animal life as well as their hobbies.

Dr. Savka Kostadinova, beginners` level trainer encouraged the ladies at the close of the training saying that they should continue studding. They may check the records of the trainings and the materials presented and experiment with their devises that provide numerous opportunities for communication. “My trainees were very attentive and diligent despite being busy with many other activities. They did a great job.” Concluded Dr. Kostadinova from the Faculty of Mathematics and IT in Sofia University.

Sara Alkaf /Yemen/ attended the Creative design course and also shared her opinion that the knowledge obtained is priceless. “I am glad I was part of this training – it was fun to study and practice creative design. While doing it I had time for myself - a rest without kids and household tasks.”

Maria Gochova /UKR/ “I enriched my IT knowledge. I did something for myself and I hope it will pay back in the future.”

Velislava Baltadzhieva, expert in GS1 Bulgaria being the trainer in creative design heartened her trainees as well. She said that the course was measured well – not too easy, not too hard in order to make the ladies curious and willing to do more and to practice. Velislava was thankful for their interest and regular attendance.

The certificates were presented at a special online ceremony.

The RIDE project will continue in Bulgaria with a job fair in autumn 2022.

RIDE involves 7countries (Belgium, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria) with 6 local organizations and 3 EU-level partners. The Consortium, as it has been designed, insured that the focus of the action will be highly rooted not only in the local territories where the organizations are coming from but also on a wider European level, shaping a pilot network that can be the beginning of further actions beyond the end of the project. The partners are representatives of Chambers of Commerce, private companies and social enterprises.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The main activities include organization of promotional events, mentoring and training sessions for migrant and refugee women, ICT trainings.
