Nikolay Nenchev, new Chargé d'Affaires of Embassy of Bulgaria in Ukraine, visited BCCI


Nikolay Nenchev, the newly appointed Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Ukraine, visited BCCI and together with the Chamber President Tsvetan Simeonov, discussed the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Tsvetan Simeonov acquainted the newly appointed Head of our mission in Kiev with the BCCI activities, with the regional structure and the services of the Trade Register and notified him of the Chamber's membership in international organisations.

Mr Simeonov gave information on BCCI's relations with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, both on a bilateral basis and on a multilateral basis - based on the membership in the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry /EuroChambers/. He emphasised that the cooperation with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry started as early as 1995 with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement and 2012 witnessed the establishment of the Bulgarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry at BCCI which aims to encourage and support the activities of all profit-making and non-profit making entities, oriented towards expanding the scope of the Bulgarian-Ukrainian trade and economic relations. The President of BCCI shared that the Chamber also maintains good relationships with the Embassy of Ukraine in Sofia, regularly exchanging information on different initiatives.

Nikolay Nenchev gave information about the meetings held so far and about some plans to intensify trade and economic relations and expressed his willingness to assist the businesses in both countries.

Mr Simeonov expressed BCCI's support for the fulfillment of the assigned tasks during the mandate of the new Head of our mission in Ukraine.
