The head of the Economic and Commercial Section – Budapest presented perspectives on the enhancement of Bulgaria – Hungary cooperation



The Head of the Economic and Commercial Section in Budapest, Counsellor Nevena Stoyanova, visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and had talks with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.

He expressed his appreciation of the fruitful cooperation with the office in Hungary, which was ranked third within the BCCI and the Ministry of Economy and Industry awards for best overseas ECS.

Stoyanova shared that, further to consistently supporting Bulgarian and Hungarian companies with their search for partners, she had held meetings with regional chambers of commerce in Hungary, building the road to dynamic cooperation, exchange of information and business visits, as well as bilateral events. A working contact has also been established with HEPA - the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency. The President of the BCCI Simeonov shared his ideas of expanding the cooperation between concrete Hungarian and Bulgarian regional business organizations.

The parties discussed the possibilities of attracting Hungarian investors to the Bulgarian market.

It was agreed to exchange at the beginning of next year relevant information on international exhibitions and fairs in both countries, invigorating contacts in the specific sectors.
