EU Club meeting, 23 January 2025


In the year of celebration 130th Anniversary since the establishment of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and 25th Anniversary since the setting up of the EU Club, the BCCI has the pleasure to invite you to the EU Club meeting on the occasion of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union by Poland as of 1st January 2025.

The EU Club with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathers diplomats, politicians, bankers, businessmen and journalist. The goal of the forum is to acquaint them with the results achieved during the past presidency as well as with the priorities of the new one.

The current challenges the EU is facing will be reflected in the priority areas for the Polish Presidency that is going to support activities strengthening European security in all its dimensions: external, internal, information, economic, energy, food, and health.

Following the draft agenda, enclosed herewith, three main topics will be discussed:

Results achieved during the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2024
H.E. Miklos Boros, Ambassador of Hungary

Priorities and Programme of the Polish presidency of the Council of the EU 
H.E. Maciej Szymański, Ambassador of Poland

Bulgaria in Schengen - advantages and challenges=
