The event is being co-organised by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian-Croatian Business Club (BHBC) and with help of the Head of the Office for Trade and Economic Affairs of Bulgaria in Zagreb, Mrs. Mirela Taseva.
In the preparatory period for Bulgaria before the introduction of the euro, the conference will offer a discussion about the risks and challenges that await our country with its adoption. The experience of Croatia, which has been using the common European currency for more than a year, will be presented.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Bulgaria, joining the Eurozone will support institutional convergence with the EU, which is an important element for the country's economy and for attracting investors. The country's fiscal policy consistently maintains low deficits below 3%, and inflation in our country is currently on a downward trend. The banking sector in Bulgaria is in good shape, and the Bulgarian economy shows resilience despite the series of crises in the national and international context in recent years.
The concept of the conference includes three levels: institutional participation of Croatian and Bulgarian institutions at a high level, on the Croatian side expected to be the Croatian National Bank, the Croatian Revenue Agency, the Agency for SMEs, representatives of businesses and institutions responsible for consumers and track the social effect of introducing the new currency.
We invite you to participate in the conference, which will be held in a hybrid format. After filling the capacity of the hall at the BCCI, only registrations for online attendance will be accepted. The working language of the event is English.
