A meeting with representatives of the Embassy of China in Sofia


Dr. Vasil Todorov, Vice President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a meeting with King Lingyu, Commercial Counselor at the Embassy of China in Sofia, and Wang Chenxi, Attaché at the Embassy's Department of Economic and Commercial Affairs.

The purpose of the working visit was to discuss the upcoming training for representatives of the management body and employees of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), as well as for its members and partners. This training is scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 13, 2024, in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, and Beijing, and should be organized by the Academy for Training International Business Representatives under the Ministry of Commerce of China.

Vasil Todorov highlighted the good cooperation and assistance from the Trade Section of the Embassy of China in Sofia in organizing the training programme in China, as well as in arranging additional meetings based on mutual interests. The Vice President discussed with his guests the activity of the 3D Center - a center for 3D printing, scanning, and modeling under the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Kon Linyu noted that the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is an important partner for China in expanding bilateral trade and economic relations. He shared that the upcoming visit to the Asian country by the Chamber will focus on themes such as innovation and trade. Other upcoming initiatives for enhancing bilateral cooperation were discussed, among them were participation in fairs and exhibitions.
