Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President tоок part at the Global Economic Forum of WTCA



Tsvetan Simeonov was representing Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - World Trade Center Sofia /affiliated/at the Global Economic Forum of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), which took place in Marseille from April 6 to 9.

The forum featured over 400 representatives of 120 global trade centres from 50 countries.

The event explored the rapidly changing landscape of global trade, with a special focus on the strategic role of the Mediterranean in international trade corridors. The discussion presented the impact of changes in the global supply chain, port modernization and how companies are dealing with these changes to remain competitive.

In a unique business and innovation environment, the forum was opened by John Drew, CEO of ETCA, Benoit Vincent, President of the WTC Marseille Provence and Pierre Veyres, President of the Aix Marcille Provence International Chamber of Commerce The event focused on business contacts and the topics of real estate and tourism.

BCCI President Simeonov expressed the opinion that for the BCCI as World Trade Center Sofia /associated/ the position of WTCA in favor of free trade is important in order to balance protectionist deviations.

WTCA is an organization that promotes free trade, economic growth, and supports international business relations on a global scale. The Association is in the process of decentralizing its activities and is constantly improving the flow of information within and between different regions. WTCA requires its regional structures around the world to be leaders in providing assistance to business. The Association functions as a living organism and is open to any ideas in this direction. The organization is constantly recruiting new members and actively working with the old ones.

A specialized real estate forum took place within the Global economic Forum setting new horizons for real estate business.

The world trade centers in Pennsylvania, Winnipeg, Nantes, Brest, Yerevan, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Taipei, Thane, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Madagascar, etc. were presented.

Simeonov had scheduled meetings with counterparts from World Trade Center Rennes Bretagne, World Trade Center Barcelona., World Trade Center Delaware, etc.
