The new Ambassador of Brazil to Sofia - H.E. Paulo Roberto Tarrisse Da Fontoura – visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and held talks with BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov about the possibilities for enhancing bilateral trade and economic relations. The meeting was attended by Aleksandra Petrova, Commercial Section and Claudio Nascimento, Minister – counsellor at the Embassy.
Tsvetan Simeonov presented the history and activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on the non-obligatory Trade register and the Arbitration Court. The Ambassador and his team were acquainted in detail with the current economic situation in the country and Bulgaria’s upcoming Eurozone entry.
Ambassador Paulo Roberto outlined the opportunities for cooperation with Bulgaria in various areas with a focus on agriculture (tropical fruits), tourism, wine production, etc.
Tsvetan Simeonov said the BCCI was ready to offer full assistance to Ambassador Paulo Roberto during his mandate in Sofia.
