The partnership between BCCI and Innovation Norway continues

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Ventseslava Yanchovska, Honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of Norway in Bulgaria and Manager of Innovation Norway. The meeting was also attended by Miryana Aleksandrova, Executive Director of the Norwegian-Bulgarian Business Group, and Natalia Dicheva, Chief Expert at BCCI’s “European Integration and European Projects Directorate”.

During the meeting, opportunities for submitting project proposals under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 were discussed. At present, the “Business Development, Innovation and SME” Programme is open for applications, with a focus on innovation in the green industry. In the autumn, the announcement of an invitation is expected from the Fund for Decent Work and Tripartite Dialogue, under which BCCI as a leading organization has already successfully implemented the “TRUST” project on Transparency for Sustainable Social Policy.

Opportunities for cooperation with the Norwegian-Bulgarian Business Group aimed at strengthening the commercial ties between Bulgaria and Norway, providing business contacts and sharing experience and goods practices with companies, were also discussed. Options for organization of mutual events within BCCI’s Club of Joint Chambers were discussed. The Chamber’s new service - 360 degree video recording of companies and the related development of an interactive business map of Bulgaria was presented.
