The President of BCCI met with the new Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Vienna

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Emilian Abadzhiev on the occasion of his forthcoming trip to Vienna as newly appointed Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in the Austrian capital.

According to Abadzhiev, with its central location for the European market Austria is a key partner of Bulgaria. He presented his priorities aimed at maintaining and deepening trade, economic and investment contacts between Bulgarian and Austrian companies.

Tsvetan Simeonov presented the latest services and information packages that the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers. He stressed the importance of the Unified Trade Register of the Chamber and the product catalog of GS1 Bulgaria “BG Barcode”.

Tsvetan Simeonov and his guest agreed that BCCI and the Commercial and Economic Section in Vienna will exchange information on a regular basis in order to take more advantage of the opportunities for connecting businesses from both countries. The President of BCCI cited the Austrian Economic Chamber /WKO/ and its representative in Bulgaria, Ulrike Straka, as strong allies in this mission.

Emilian Abadzhiev is a long-term partner of the BCCI as a manager of Metro - Bulgaria and a member of the Board of Directors of GS1 Bulgaria.
