Italian companies in the field of energy efficient construction visited BCCI



Representatives of Italian companies operating in the field of energy efficient construction, accompanied by Andriana Koleva, Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Milan, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov presented the activities of the BCCI, as well as the excellent cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in Sofia and Confindustria Bulgaria (the association that unites Italian companies in Bulgaria). Various opportunities for entering the Bulgarian market were discussed. Vladimir Tomov, Chairman of the Investment Council at BCCI, and Zahari Nikolov, General Manager of the website for Italian-Bulgarian cooperation  also took part in the meeting.

The participants in the meeting - about fifty entrepreneurial companies from the region of Sicily, briefly presented their activities in the field of building family houses from natural eco materials.

Currently, the companies are building family houses in France, in the region of Paris and intend to enter the Bulgarian market. They are mainly interested in raw materials for the construction of houses such as pine timber and are looking for contacts with Bulgarian construction companies for future cooperation.

During the conversation it was stated that there is a good prospect for the supply of quality Bulgarian construction materials.
