The newly appointed Commercial and Economic Counsellor of Greece in Bulgaria, Theodosios Vallas, visited the BCCI and discussed with Tsvetan Simeonov, the President of the Chamber, the opportunities for strengthening the development of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Greece. The meeting was attended by Dimitrios Maos, First Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Embassy.
Simeonov acquainted his guest with the history and activities of the BCCI, focusing on the work of the fully digitalized Arbitration Court at BCCI and the preparation of various types of economic analyzes to support the work of the Commercial Section at the Greek Embassy. Current information on the place of Bulgaria in the international economic rankings was also presented.
Vallas informed about the priorities during his upcoming term of office. He emphasized the efforts that need to be made to improve and develop the bilateral trade relations. The need to improve the railway links between the ports of both countries was also discussed. The Embassy’s Economic Department and BCCI will work together to allow more Greek and Bulgarian entrepreneurs to cooperate on new international markets.
