The newly appointed Ambassador of Cyprus to Bulgaria visited the BCCI
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus in Sofia H.E. Stavros Avgustidis visited the BCCI and talked with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov.
During the conversation they discussed bilateral economic relations. It was noted that there was great potential to develop the business relations between Bulgaria and Cyprus, and that currently a slight progress was being noticed.
Ambassador Avgustidis mentioned the discovered new natural gas reserves by Cypriot energy experts on the territory of Cyprus and their impending exploitation in the near future.
Subject to discussion was also the possibility of a business visit to Bulgaria by a delegation of Cypriot entrepreneurs by the end of the year or early in the next year.
