BCCI organized a meeting to present the opportunities for migrant women to access the labour market
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting under the RIDE project (Reach Inclusion through Digital Empowerment for migrant women), which aims to improve the opportunities for migrant and refugee women to enter the labour market through digital skills and thus optimize their inclusion in the host society. Special attention was paid to women coming from Ukraine due to the military actions in the country. The meeting was held with the assistance of Open Bulgaria.
The event was opened by Gabriela Dimitrova, Director “International Cooperation and International Organizations” at BCCI, who presented the project activities. She stressed that trainings in information and computer technologies, mentoring, intercultural, social and labour inclusion of migrant women are forthcoming and will be conducted in electronic and hybrid format.
The trainings are free. They will be held in Bulgarian and English, twice a week in online format. Registration is required to participate in the trainings. More information here.

Dr. Maria Hristova, Executive Director of Sofia Investment Agency, presented the new platform developed by Sofia Municipality and Invest Sofia to help Ukrainian refugees looking for work - https://jobs.investsofia.com. The platform, which is available in Bulgarian, English and Ukrainian, can publish both job vacancies from employers and CVs of jobseekers.
