The newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Cuba visited BCCI


The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Cuba Todor Kanchevski visited the BCCI and met with President Tsvetan Simeonov.

Ambassador Kanchevski has previous experience in the Caribbean and during his forthcoming term of office will also be responsible for Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. He got acquainted with the cooperation between the BCCI and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba. The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized the results of the virtual business forum Bulgaria – Cuba, held in April this year.

Tsvetan Simeonov and his guest discussed the difficulties that Bulgarian companies face when doing business in Cuba. The potential for development of trade and investment relations between the two countries was highly praised and ideas to support the expansion of the bilateral economic cooperation were shared.
