H.E. Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva visited BCCI

H.E. Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in Bulgaria and Sanjeev K. Bhati, Deputy-Head of Mission, visited BCCI and discussed with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov the state of the bilateral economic relations between India and Bulgaria.

Ambassador Sachdeva made a brief overview of the activity of the Embassy in 2015, emphasizing his regional visits to Ruse and Shumen and the Embassy’s assistance for the establishment of a joint Bulgaria – India Chamber of Commerce. He said that in 2016 the main focus would be on business and economy.

In this regard, H.E. Rajesh Sachdeva presented an opportunity for development of the bilateral trade and economic relations, namely participation of Bulgarian companies in the upcoming Make-in-India Week (13-18 February 2016, Mumbai), organized by the Indian Government under the auspices of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. According to Ambassador Sachdeva, the participation of Bulgarian companies in the forum is of utmost importance for the development of the bilateral relations.
