The Ambassador of Nigeria visited BCCI
H.E. Okechukwu Fidelis Muoh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nigeria to Romania accredited for Bulgaria, visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov. Opportunities for development of the bilateral cooperation were discussed. Ambassador Muoh said that he hoped two initiatives to take place in 2016 which would serve as a catalyst for the development of the trade and economic relations. The first one is a visit to Bulgaria of a business delegation from Southeast Nigeria – a region known for the entrepreneurial spirit of its population. The second event is a business seminar organized jointly by BCCI and the Embassy of Nigeria to present the investment and business opportunities in the African country.
The current economic situation in Nigeria was also discussed. Ambassador Muoh informed about the upcoming „Lagos International Trade Fair” (6th – 15th November 2015) which is one of most important events in West Africa and a window to the Nigerian economy. He invited Bulgarian companies to attend the exhibition as an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the industry in the region.
The President of BCCI presented up-to-date information about the Bulgarian economy and introduced his guest to the latest innovations in the work of BCCI. He expressed readiness to assist the Embassy of Nigeria in the execution of its goals in support of Bulgarian and Nigerian businesses.
