Meeting with the Ambassador of Lebanon


H. Exc. Toufic Jaber, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to Sofia, visited the BCCI and had a regular meeting with the President of the Chamber, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. Mr.  George Riachi, the President of the Association of the Lebanese in Bulgaria, also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the main topic of the discussions was the current state of the economic relations between Bulgaria and Lebanon. The Ambassador Jaber acquainted the participants with the forthcoming exposition of Lebanese products in Sofia during the second half of June this year. The BCCI will provide more details to the business cycles through its information channels about the exact period of the exposition.

Among the other important discussion topics were the activities and the collaboration between the two joint councils – Bulgarian-Lebanese Business Council in Sofia and the Lebanese-Bulgarian Business Council in Beirut. Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov confirmed the willingness of the BCCI to support the incorporation of more and more new members in various areas.
