The good cooperation with the Taiwanese business continues


The Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Representative Office (TAITRA) in Greece Louis Huang visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov. Mrs. Patty Lin, Director of TAITRA in Sofia also took part in the meeting.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the opportunities for development of economic ties between the Bulgarian and Taiwanese business and continuation of the good cooperation between BCCI and TAITRA.

Louis Huang informed about the intentions of large companies working in the field of marine transport to open their representations in Bulgaria. He also said that Taiwanese companies working in the field of manufacturing of spare parts for bicycles and in the textile industry (sportswear) are willing to open production plants in Bulgaria.

Tsvetan Simeonov welcomed the interest of the Taiwanese business for strengthening the cooperation with Bulgaria and said that Taiwan is a traditionally good partner. The President also briefly presented the activity of the Chamber in support of Bulgarian entrepreneurs and international business initiatives.

BCCI has undertaken to assist the Taiwanese entrepreneurs in implementing their intentions in Bulgaria.
