For the fourth year in a row BCCI will support the Balkans International Wine Competition and Festival
The Balkans International Wine Competition and Festival is a one-of-its-kind wine forum on the Balkans. Held annually in Sofia, as a natural center of the Balkans, it aims at drawing the world wine community’s attention to this interesting and original region. With its 1.8 million tons of wine produced annually the Balkans rank 5th worldwide, right after the major wine-manufacturers Italy, France, Spain and the USA. The organizers’ ambition is to prove the international business and wine elite the opportunity to use wine diplomacy in bringing countries from the region closer and branding it as the oldest wine-making region in the world.
A “Balkans Wine Chamber” will be established during the event.
The event, which will take place in Sofia in the period 28th – 31st May 2015 with the support of BCCI for the fourth year in a row.
