A large representative BCCI delegation and its partners went to China

BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov and Wang Xuequan, the commercial counselor to the Embassy of China in Bulgaria, sent off a representative delegation of 23 managers and experts from the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry, branch organizations and companies – members of BCCI, who will undergo a two-week training course in China.

The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with even more opportunities offered by cooperation under the 17 + 1 initiative of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China and to promote good partnership relations between the BCCI and the Council for the Promotion of China's Economy and Trade, said Simeonov.

According to Wang Xuequan, there are a lot of opportunities between business organizations on both sides. Participants in the training also have certain tasks that they have to fulfill during their training in China and after returning to Bulgaria. These include generating ideas to promote bilateral economic co-operation, opportunities for closer interaction at company level, and sharing experiences with similar organizations.

The visit will be followed by an official state-level visit, prepared in cooperation between the BCCI and the Administration of President Rumen Radev in early July.
