For the first time, the award for Bulgaria’s most successful commercial and economic section abroad was bestowed in 2011, according to criteria developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy. The evaluation criteria, like in the previous years, contain two groups of indicators: statistical data and provided assistance to businesses.
The first group of criteria includes: increasing Bulgarian exports to the respective country, attracted foreign investment in Bulgaria and foreign tourists from the respective country.
The second group covers the active work of the commercial and economic sections with the Bulgarian business – providing and disseminating useful information, assistance for business visits to the respective country, and organization of bilateral forums and meetings.
