2019 is one of the most successful years for the cooperation between BCCI and the Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy in Sofia

Wang Xuekun, Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sofia, visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov. During the meeting it was shared that 2019 was one of the most successful years for the cooperation between the teams of BCCI and the Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy. A number of events were organized. The Chamber sent a representative delegation of managers and experts of BCCI, the regional chambers of commerce and industry, the branch organizations and member-companies to participate in seminars in the Chinese cities of Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Beijing. A Bulgarian business delegation, organized by BCCI in cooperation with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, took part in the World Economic Forum in Dalian.

In 2019, the Chamber welcomed several Chinese delegations from the Heilongjiang Province, Shanghai Hongqiao Business District, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the China Construction Bank.

Tsvetan Simeonov and the Commercial Counsellor discussed upcoming joint initiatives. The intensive exchange of economic and business information will continue in 2020 to further promote and intensify the cooperation between the two countries.
