Sofia and Belgrade to become the first Balkan capitals connected by a motorway, suggested BCCI’s President
“Why are not there two capitals on the Balkans connected by a motorway, yet?” This was the question brought up by the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, before the Presidents of Bulgaria and Serbia – Mr. Rosen Plevneliev and Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, during the specially organized by BCCI Bulgarian-Serbian business forum on the occasion of the visit of the Serbian head of State in Sofia.
The forum, which was attended by over 100 Bulgarian and 30 Serbian companies, was inaugurated by the two Presidents – Rosen Plevneliev, and Tomislav Nikolic.

“Work together, manufacture together, invest from Bulgaria to Serbia and vice versa. As Presidents, we can only encourage you“, stated the Bulgarian Head of State, Mr. Rosen Plevneliev. He underlined that Bulgaria will support the European development of Serbia.
The Presidents Rosen Plevneliev and Tomislav Nikolic pointed out that the potential for the bilateral cooperation in economy is huge, and it is of mutual interest to benefit from it.
“Due to this particular potential the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the newly established Bulgarian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will actively work for its realization”, stated the President of BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
