The Ambassador of Portugal H.Exc. Luis Feras visited BCCI

The Ambassador of Portugal in Bulgaria H.Exc. Luis Feras and the President of the Bulgarian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce /BPCC/ Mr. Emilian Abadjiev visited the BCCI and had a meeting with the President of the Chamber Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.

In the focus of the discussion were the opportunities for activation of the economic collaboration between the two countries. The activities of the BPCC and its new site in support of the Bulgarian and Portuguese businesses were presented

The Ambassador Feras outlined the importance of the Bulgarian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce for the economic cooperation between the two countries and expressed his confidence that it will be expanded. A good example for this is the resumption (since the beginning of 2016) of the weekly direct flights between Sofia and Lisbon. The expectations are that in 2017 the interest in this destination will grow and the number of flights will increase in two flights per week.
