Meeting with students from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands
Representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with a group of students from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands to discuss issues related to the economic development of Bulgaria and its capital Sofia in particular. The students are preparing a report on this topic and asked many questions related to innovation, entrepreneurship, international business relations, foreign direct investment, corporate social responsibility, business climate and HR management.
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov answered their questions related to the difficulties faced by Bulgarian companies at the moment, innovation and innovative entrepreneurship, which are a condition for sustainable success not only in times of crisis.
BCCI experts Gabriela Dimitrova, Director “International Cooperation and International Organizations”, and Lyubomir Levicharov, Chief Expert "Economic Analysis and Policy", discussed other topics with the students, including corporate social responsibility, willingness of companies to share their achievements, green economy, etc.
So far the students have conducted interviews with several Bulgarian companies, universities and government agencies, preparing the report on Bulgaria.
